Anya Aggarwal is a dedicated student at The British School in  New Delhi, where she studies subjects like Math, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Economics. From learning about the basics of robotics and engineering through her participation in Maker’s Asylum, to having experience managing portfolios and partaking in model car designs for her school’s F1 STEM Racing Club, Anya genuinely enjoys taking an interest in technological concepts and turning them into tangible ideas. She is also a passionate pianist and performer. In summer 2025, she attended the Ashoka Young Scholars Program, where she explored the intersection between science, sustainability and real-world impact. Anya is fond of public speaking as well and has engaged in the same through hosting events and participating in MUN conferences. Through her project, she hopes to channel her skills into creating more space for girls like herself, who may not have the opportunity otherwise, to experiment, express and explore science with confidence. IGNITE and Anya’s goals are simple: to spark a love for STEM and keep it burning.
